Don't forget HD cables if you have an HDTV. They don't come with the core 360 or any PS3.
Apparently not you. I for one loved this game when I was a kid and will happily pay $5 for it when I get home.
It's only $50 because it's a Rare game, but I'm sure even at that price your statement still stands.
How has Cliffy not proven himself? Between the Unreal franchise and Gears, he has consistently proven himself. I'd rank him over Jaffe any day as he doesn't have nearly as many good games under his belt, although God of War was my favorite PS2 game.
Get it, or at least rent it. I got it on my 360 and it's very good as far as FPS games go, but for a person who doesn't like FPS there's probably not a lot of replay value. As for Resistance, I will see for myself next week when I cash in my tax return and come over to the dark side.
The fact that you still have more than one bubble is proof that there is no god.
I think he was being sarcastic in regards to an earlier comment.
So you're saying that if you are connected to the internet, which you have to do in order to connect to XBL, you can't download content from XBL at the same time? This is not the case. The vast majority of games will allow you to play single player while downloading content. The download will stop only if you begin a multiplayer match. The only game I have played that doesn't follow this rule is Crackdown, where a single player game can become a co-op game at any time without having to go...
I was just telling the guy I was playing with this exact same thing about those exact same games making me want a 360 before it was released.
I haven't had that problem yet and mine's hooked up with component cables outputting 480p. In fact, I'm using it to type this.
I got my Wii about 3 weeks ago from a department store I frequent about 5 times a week before I go to work. I checked for a Wii every day and one day they had a shelf of about 20 of them. I bought mine then and there and when my co-worker went after he got off 2 hours later they were all gone. This is ridiculous.
If you're asking about the hard drive then yes it is.
I personally hate playing in split screen but it should definitely still be an option for those of us unfortunate enough to not have Xbox Live.
Ok now for a link that says the 360 can't run Havok 4.5 please. Just because Halo uses an older version doesn't mean the platform can't handle the newer version.
"And as of now M$ barely has 1 / 10th the install base of the Ps2."
If you're going to compare the PS2 to anything, it should be the Xbox, which it outsold 4 to 1 rather than 10 to 1.
"What about the fact that Sony's stock is worth DOUBLE of what Microsofts is?"
You don't know anything about the stock market do you? Have you ever heard of a stock split? How many shares of MS stock are out there vs. Sony? I'd venture a guess of more than doub...
You can download a Lair trailer day 1 if you pick up a new PS3? SWEET! I wish you could do that for Mass Effect and Bioshock if you were to buy a 360 today. Oops, I must have forgotten somehow...you can, and have been able to for several months.
..aside from the built in network adapter. And its inability to connect the hard drive was a nice F you to the people who did buy it.
I like the 360 version more but when it comes down to it I wouldn't mind playing the PS3 version. I'd definitely miss the rumble though.
That would be way too awesome to be real.
I'd compare blast factor to Mutant Storm instead of Geometry Wars. I have Mutant Storm and from what I have played of Blast Factor I'd have to say they're much more similar. Cash Guns Chaos is basically a blatant ripoff of Smash TV with better graphics. As for this style of arcade game, I prefer Assault Heroes on XBLA.
